HTC One M9 Specifications
Looks like HTC's next flagship smartphone, which has been the subject of several leaks, may be named HTC One M9 and not HTC One (M9). The name was briefly put up on the HTC Canada website and snapped up before being taken down.
A fresh report by Upleaks has provided a detailed look at the specifications of the HTC One M9. The phone will stick to 5-inch IPS display and full-HD resolution seen in theHTC One (M8). A 20.7-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash is expected along with a front-facing 4-megapixel camera supported by HTC's Ultrapixel technology.
As expected, the smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset,64-bit Snapdragon 810, which has been in the news due to alleged heating issues. 3GB of RAM and Andreno 430 GPU are also mentioned in the list of specifications of the HTC One M9.
According to the report, the HTC One M9 will come in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage variants and run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Sense 7.0 UI slapped on top. Other features tipped include microSD card support, BoomSound speakers, Bluetooth 4.1 and 2,840mAh battery capacity.
Upleaks also mentions three variants of the smartphone going by the name UHL, WHL and WL. The UHL variant is said to reach Asia, Europe, Africa, UAE, Russia, Turkey, China(Mainland), USA (AT&T, T-Mobile US, and Developer model), Canada (include ROGERS, TELUS), and Latin America. The WHL variant will be for Sprint and China Telecom, while the WL variant will be for Verizon only.
Details on the HTC One M9 accessories and their model numbers have also been revealed. The list of accessories mentioned are HTC DotView 2 (with more colours than before) - HC, M231/232, Clear Case - HC C1153, Stand Case - HC K1150, Waterproof Case(has IP68 rating) - HC C1152, Waterproof Headset - RC E250, Headset 2015 - MAX 500, HTC BoomBass with Wi-Fi support (requires Sense 7), and Screen Protector - SP R230A.
